SCHOOL COUNCIL/ECO SCHOOLS - this year school council will be working towards eco school awards. Our council will remain as it has always been with councillors representing each class, voted in by secret ballot. Class 1 will be represented by Class 5 until they have their own election later in the year.
Every child in school has been invited to complete a manifesto. Please see the school council page on the website and Dojo for more details.
A completed manifesto needs to be handed in to your class by 20th September. They remain anonymous, please write names on the back. Elections will be held during that week. With the first meeting held the following week.
SCHOOL LEOTARDS - some parents have been asking about school leotards and whether they are still available. Yes they are! Copies of the updated ordering sheet are in the entrance to the office in the leaflet rack and on the school website. They are an optional extra and have been worn in the past, for our gymnasts entering competitions. We have not yet heard anything about gymnastics competitions yet for this year but if your child would like a leotard for Gym Club or PE lessons (when they have Gym or Dance), you are more than welcome to order one. Please do not feel any pressure to buy one - if we do enter any competitions, the school has leotards that can be borrowed for such events. If your child has out grown their old school leotard, we can advertise it in the newsletter for you at a 'second hand' rate depending on condition. Please speak to Mrs Cogdell or Mrs P to make arrangements for this. Many thanks.
