CROSS COUNTRY – Congratulations to our cross country runners; Oliver, Gabe, Charlie, Anna, Mia, Coco, Sophia, Louis, Lewis, Jago, Jacob, Rory, Ben, Darren, Amelie, Angel, Daisy, Maisy, Georgia, Sophie, Stan & Jensen who competed at the St Petrocs Cross Country Event last Friday. The course was tougher than usual due to muddy, wet conditions and a long uphill start. The year 3 & 4’s had a 1.5km course and the year 5 & 6’s a 3km course. With hundreds of competitors from as far away as Plymouth, our runners did us super proud and had some fantastic results. Stan was 4th in his category, Anna 3rd in hers and Coco an amazing 1st. Our year 3 and 4 girls did especially well with a 2nd place in the team event ~ something we’ve never achieved before. Well done to all of our competitors, with some very brave performances, in such a tough event.
CORNWALL SCHOOL GAMES CROSS COUNTRY FINAL – Many congratulations to Charlie, Maisy, Sophia, Stanley, Lewis, Coco & Anna who qualified for the final. This was due to take place next week but has now been postponed due to the Coronavirus.
