Welcome to class 3 and our start of the summer term!
This term our topic is Fantastic Food! What a great topic to explore! We will be looking at different foods from around the world, how food grows and where it grows, how it is processed and transported around the world and of course, tasting some!!
Our science topics this summer term are states of matter and plants. Both of these areas are interesting and fascinating and we look forward to sharing all the wonderful information we have.

Spring 2022
Welcome back to class 3 and to a new year! Our topic this term is 'Under the Sea'
We will be learning about oceans and countries, creatures of the deep and coral reefs. We will also be learning about environmental issues and pollution. It is a super exciting and very interesting topic and I look forward to sharing it with you!
Our science work will be forces and magnets; always good fun and then rocks and soils which will involve fossils!
Your class books this term are: This Morning I Met a Whale by Michael Morpurgo, Duffy's Lucky Escape by Ellie Jackson, Song of the Dolphin Boy by Elizabeth Laird and Dolphin Boy by Michael Morpurgo. All fantastic books.

Autumn Term 2021
We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back on 8th September!

Our topic for the Autumn term is Invaders and Settlers- The Vikings!

This will be an exciting subject for us all to learn about. I am really looking forward to learning about where they came from, what they did and how they lived.

If you click on the link, mtp, you can see all the areas of our learning. We are going to be learning about light and sound in science, the Vikings in history & geography & how to use a computer for effective research. We will be working hard with our maths and in English we have a couple of great books to look at; How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell & There's a Viking in my Bed by Jeremy Strong!

It's going to be a super term!
